Rosalie, a girl of twelve, is very sad, because her grandma, who se lovers dearly, is confined to her bed. Grandma Van Deursen has fallen and broke her hip. She can't undergo a hip replacement surgery, because she doesn't have the money for it. The hospital can help her through social support, but than they put grandma on a waiting list. It ll take some time before she gets help.
All that time grandma will be confined to bed. Rosalie feels her grandma's pain and wants to help her. But how? She devises a plan to pay for the artificial hip. But will her plan succeed? And what does it all entail?

AUTHOR
INDRA HU debuted in 2002 with the children's book De avonturen van Leena en Jopie: Leena en Jopie ontmoeten Sisi, de luie poes. From then on she has been writing and has 13 titles to her name. 
In 2012 she debuted with her youth book Laat mij niet alleen, that's about a schoolboy who is hiv-positive. In that year she was selected as children's book writer of the KBF.
