This collection was published in the contet of 150 years commemoration abolition Dutch slavery in 2013. It compiles a mi of prose and poetry, my biography of an enslaved person and the story of ‘Jacob Cats and my involvement’.

Slavery and what is related to it, has been infiltrated in the lives of people that unconciously it is applied in daily life. The intention is that young and old should become more aware and think about actions. behaviours and judgments among each other, to treat each other more  eual.
