Go Ahead, You’re Home in Dutch: “Loopt U Door, U Bent Thuis.” These were the magical words spoken by the immigration officer, when we handed over our passports on arrival at Amsterdam Airport. My goal as a single, fulltime working mother was to begin a new, peaceful life in The Netherlands, securing a better future for me and my children. It involved a mountain-moving faith breaking boundaries with a burning desire and determination to succeed.
